doesnt matter what builds they ran, they are well known guilds, and just because a guild is dead does not mean they arent famous.

I don't know who told you this, but 1st ranger spike was invented by FC Korea. It had 5 rangers with kindle arrows and with qz down, renewal etc. (all that in spirit spam days of course). Everyone was talking about it,they played it in GvG and Tombs and were good in that.
p.s. Sorry, but I never heard of Warrior Nation (not trying to insult or anything ^^) and I'm pretty much active on GW.

Those were the days. Whenever i visit HoH (HA now) i never recognize anyone from the glory days but then again i quit GWs for 6months only to return to a new generation of fame farmers... quit after IWAY ruined HoH!

At the moment the most guilds in Heroes' Ascent would be;
Your Math Teacher reformed from Math Professors I think and soon set to dominate tombs once again it seems, best Iway guild thats ever existed and their build atm is truly original to other Iway builds.
LuNa insescently won halls for about a months on end+ and still winning, not as much as they used to but still got to be one of the best tombs guilds.
Illicit Awakening, recently been using their new holding spike build and being successful, still holding halls since december when the guild started, the best spike guild there is.
I have to mention my own guild <3 Titanic Deck-Chair Attendents. Constant halls wins recently, more than any other guild. Original build which has tried to be copied, but others have failed ^^
Few other guilds as well Boondock Saints the old Gangstas in the Hood, havent been holding much lately ^^, winning at that, but did win alot with their older guild [HooD]. And Then And Then And [Then] everyone knows who they are, and consistantly winning halls daily, great guild and great people.
Who else?

heres my views, on famous Ha guilds:
storm bearers[SB]-good friends of my guild, played a very good balanced build, won halls often, aint seen them for a while, im guessing gvg.
illicit awakening[iA]- when monkey was around, when these guys were in their "prime" they were unstopabble, multi-hall wins every night, for a good while, still see them win at times.
titanic deck chair attendants[SWIM]- used to see them win a lot a bit back, now winning halls regular, playing a balanced build very well.
crazy camel humpers[HUMP]- the now "nerfed" guild-name, play bloodspike well, like the build or not. reformed to [LAMA].
cute kittens[meow]-again, good bloodspikers, hold halls a lot.
your math teacher[MATH]-like the guys/build or not, no-one can say these guys weren't/aren't famous.
and then and then and[then]-freindly bunch of players, see them win halls quite a bit.
empty skillbars[EaSy]- whenever i see this guild on observer in Ha, they are always running some funky build, refraining from fotm type builds.
the notorious luna[LuNa]-another guild that plays balanced very well, nice people too.
sir coversman[xG]-won halls very often with their balanced build, havent seen them for a while.
thats about it for me, most are european, i dont get to see the majority of american guilds, timezones ftl.

I think he stopped GW...His guild "Sir Coversman" [xG] is now named Xtraodinary Gentlemens, and he isn't the GM anymore...Without the faboulous leader, they don't often win the HoH.
For me:
Famous guilds in HA:
[DOGS]
[SWIM]
[LuNa]
[iA]
[meow]
Famous players:
Electron Theory
Brehon Pg
M E A T B A L L
Lucky the PvP
Power of my Ranger
But there are excellent players who are not famous...

Warrior Nation were very decent at one point, I think their leader left or something and they took in a bunch of newbs and kinda declined from then on. I remember facing them in our early rspike days with their IWAY/BarrageWay build and it was pretty scary as no-one had ever seen it before.
This was back when the 'tactic' against IWAY was to ball up. :s
So yeah, I think they were one of the first guilds to play IWAY regularily after it was discovered/invented.
Nice bunch of people, never raging or anything.
Unfortunately, nowadays it's hard to come across these kind of people. It's all about the "AHAHAHAHAHAAH WE GANKED J0000 HAHAHAH" now, it's really quite pathetic (not referring to WN btw).

best iway guild was Cute, guild was formed 3 weeks before ladder reset and made first page of ladder after 2 days of being formed, they ended up at rank 3, if only they had formed earlier they probably could have gotten rank 2 and maybe even 1.
